We have an active and friendly WI in Broadhempston with members drawn from the surrounding villages and beyond. We meet in the Village Hall every second Thursday of the month (except August) at 2.30pm. Our talks usually start at 3pm.Often our speakers are of interest to others and visitors are welcome to join us. There is a small charge of £1.00 for visitors and is limited to two visits. Most years we have an open meeting which we gear towards a wider audience and all are invited. In addition to our monthly meetings, we arrange several other activities/outings during the year, which are always popular with our members.

We also have within our WI, a monthly book club, a gardening group and two monthly walking groups.
