Welcome to this link in the village website. My name is Nicholas Pearkes and I am Vicar and Rector of the five village parishes that include Broadhempston.

Broadhempston's parish church has been here since 900AD and is built on the highest point in the village, behind the Monk's Retreat. We have a happy local congregation of all ages and have our own services, 11:00am on the first and third Sundays. The parish takes part in the monthly united service which moves from Church to Church on the second Sunday and on the fifth Sunday when there is one. These have a festival feel with special music and themes.
