The aims and intentions of the Broadhempston Archive and Local History Group (The Archive) are mainly to provide a single location where memories of this area can be stored as photographs, verbal recordings and, to a certain extent, documents. All these images are digitised so that they are less prone to insects, floods, fire and other disasters. Not only are we collecting old photos of the village but continue to take photos as the years go by to create an archive for the future.

Images already in the archive will be exhibited occasionally in our village hall and also selected photos will be available to view via this website.
